1) We need all the all information registered in the required fields into our system to proceed with your inquiry The date and time of your wedding Your full postal address including post code The address for your preparations on the day if different to your home address. At least one land line telephone number and a mobile number How many people are in your party Don't forget to notify us how you came to hear about us. Once we have this information in our system we will send you a welcome email directly back to you informing you if the day you require for our services is available and how we work.

2) Due to every wedding and Bride being so very different we pride ourselves in not setting a standard pricing system, we price each wedding individually according to the distance we may have to travel, if your wedding falls on a Bank Holiday weekend ,the amount of work involved and how many in your wedding party. However we do offer a free initial consultation.
Once you have accepted our fees a 30% deposit is required, any monies paid to Brideshair is Non refundable due to administration overheads and appointments which would have been made and will no longer be met.
If you become a regular client to Tracy's daily mobile hairstyling business TRIMMERS you will receive a further 10% on your wedding day styling.
For trials our fees are at a set rate of £35 per hour per stylist within a 10 mile radius of our based area Bournemouth/Poole Dorset, Over 10 miles a travel fee is added, for both your wedding day & trial set through Google maps at £2 per mile.

3) A 30% (Non refundable) deposit from your quoted figure is required. Any monies paid to Brideshair are Non refundable due to administration overheads and appointments which would have been made.

4) We accept cash or cheques accompanied with a cheque guarantee card, we unfortunately do not have any facility to be able to accept debit or credit cards your balance is due on or anytime before your wedding day. We do however guarantee your personal cheque will not be cash until after your wedding date. If you wish to make payment by electronic bank transfer please advice at the time of booking you would prefer this method of payment and relevant details will be given.
PLEASE NOTE - We are getting notifications from all high street banks concerning the closure of Cheque guarantee cards from 30th June 2011- we do not accept cheques without a validated guarantee card

5) Yes! We are happy to create hairstyles for any special occasion from the annual Christmas Party to Prom hair. Just register on our contact page for more information and availability.

6) Not wishing to disappoint any potential client our hairstyling service is administered initially through the Internet. All our staff are mobile stylists & due to their daily schedule it is not always possible to answer calls We are not able to answer any questions personally before you have registered with us. If you give all required information to us your registration is processed within 24 hours and you will be notified immediately of our availability through email.

7) Permanent Hair extensions are a much specialised element in hairdressing and we unfortunately do not provide this service. However will secure on the day full hair pieces or clip in extensions which the bride/bridesmaid supplies. Getting your colour and condition of your hair correct is our main concern. We do however recommend you to have your free consultation before going ahead with any additional hairstyling because often permanent extensions are an unnecessary expense if the hair is styled correctly.

9) Brideshair is as it suggests a hairstyling service only. But happy to recommend a fully qualified make-up artist for you

10) Once you have received our Welcome email we call you as soon as possible in an evening to make an appointment at your convenience for Tracy Brideshair proprietor to meet with you, where you will be able view our portfolio and to discuss your requirements. If you live outside our 10 mile radius of Bournemouth and Poole BUT your wedding is within our travel area of Dorset and West Hampshire, we will call you to explain we will be sending you either a a CD ROM or a PDF file (via email) containing our portfolio and arrange a free telephone consultation with you a couple of days later. In the period to your telephone consultation we will ask you to email us named clear head & shoulder images of profile and back shots of all your wedding party who you are expecting us to quote for, we are then able to fairly price your wedding day styling.

11) We travel within the counties of Dorset east Hampshire & south Wiltshire. There is NO travelling charge if your address for your wedding day preparations is inside our 10 mile base radius. We charge a standard travelling fee of £35 between 10-15 miles of Bournemouth and Poole base, if your address is over outside 10-15 radius £2:50 per mile over the first 10 miles will be added. This fee is based on the amount of time spent travelling to & from your appointment which does prohibit us from being available to other clients (in summer months especially) Due to our limited time for appointments we do not travel out of a 15 mile base area for trials and will add the same a travel fee if requested to do so. Overheads are created on distance from Google maps

12) Our daily schedule is Tuesday through to Saturday (Sunday for wedding day appointments only), we will accommodate Bank Holiday weekends on special request Easter through to August, however we do not work on Sunday/Monday, Christmas Day, Boxing day or New Years Day. During 1st April to 1st October we are unlikely to be available to perform trial appointments on Fridays or Saturdays

13) We advise you to insist all your members of your wedding party have a trial, to reduce any stress on the day. It is not always necessary for flower girls under 10yrs old to have a trial Eight to ten weeks before the wedding day book an appointment for you and your wedding party, have a full rehearsal trial with your stylist. This helps everyone to become familiar with their hair design, to discuss any changes which may have to be made, giving peace of mind to you the bride, knowing all concerned will be happy on the wedding day.

14) No..... our service is mobile from start to finish; we come to you at all times. On the occasion where a bride lives outside the Bournemouth & Poole area we discuss other arrangements

15) 5 is about the maximum, over 6 in a party, a time scale needed to prepare the hair to our high standard will be in the region of 6-8 hours, therefore if your wedding is before 2-3pm we unfortunately would find it difficult to accommodate your whole party..

16) All our staff have served a full 4 year apprenticeship with additional hairstyling courses including NVQ. They are State Registered Hairdressers (SRH) and Tracy is a full paid member of the Hairdressing Council.
