1) Why do I need to Register?
Answer: WE ARE A VERY BUSY COMPANY THEREFORE we need all the following personal information registered into our system by you to proceed as detailed on our contact page:;
The date and time of your wedding
Your full postal address including post code
The address for your preparations on the day if different to your home address.

How many people are in your party
Don't forget to notify us if you are a client of LEVEL
Once we have this information in our system we will send you a welcome email directly back to you informing you if the day you require for our services is available and how we work
Due to becoming A VERY BUSY COMPANY FAILURE to give all requested information will result in you NOT receiving further correspondence

2) How much do you charge?
Answer: Due to every wedding and Bride being so very different we pride ourselves in not setting a standard pricing system, we price each wedding individually according to the distance we may have to travel, how many to a wedding party and the amount of work involved. However we do offer a free initial consultation and our fees are at a set rate of £35 per hour per stylist for trials within a 10 mile radius of Bournemouth increasing up to £50 over 10 miles. If your wedding falls on a Bank Holiday weekend we do incur an additional £20 fee for Saturdays & £30 for Sunday & Mondays. Once you have accepted our fees a 30% (Non refundable) deposit is required, any monies paid to Brideshair is Non refundable due to administration overheads and appointments which would have been made and will no longer be met.

3) Do I have to pay a deposit if so how much?

4) What method of payment will you accept for my wedding day hair?
Answer: We accept cash or cheques accompanied with a cheque guarantee card, we unfortunately do not have any facility to be able to accept debit or credit cards. your balance is due on or anytime before your wedding day. We do however guarantee your cheque will not be cash until after your wedding date.

5) Do you do hair up styles for any other occassion?
Answer: Yes! we are happy to create hairstyles for any special occassion from the annual Christmas Party to Prom hair. Just register on our contact page for more information and availability.

6) Why don't you return my call after Ive left a message on your voicemail ?
Answer: WE ARE A VERY BUSY COMPANY and our hairstyling service is administered automatically through the Internet. We are NOT able to answer any questions personally before you have registered with us. If you give all required information to us your registration is processed within 24 hours and you will be notified immediately of our availability through email.
THEREFORE PLEASE ensure you have completed the online form provided on our Contact us page before getting in touch with us by TELEPHONE or EMAIL, or your enquiry/call WILL NOT be answered.

7) Do you do hair extentions?
Answer: Hair extensions are a very specialised eliment in hairdressing and we unfortunately do not provide this service. Getting your colour and condition of your hair correct is our main concern. Nevertheless if extensions are needed we are happy to recommend a salon local to us.
We do however recommend you to have your free consultation before going ahead with any additional hairstyling because often extensions are an unneccesary expense if the hair is styled corectly.

9) Do you do make-up as well as hair styling?
Answer: We are a hairstyling service only.

10) What does a FREE consultation involve?
Answer: Once you have recieved our Welcome email we call you as soon as possible in an evening to make an appoinment at your convenience for Tracy Brideshair Director to meet with you, where you will be able view our 110 image portfolio and to discuss your requirements.
If you live outside our 10 mile radius of Bournemouth and Poole BUT your wedding is within our travel area of Dorset and West Hampshire, we will call you to explain we will be sending you a cd rom containing our 110 images and between 5-10 days later arrange a free telphone consultation with you. In the 5-10 day waiting period we ask you to email us named clear head & shoulder images of profile and back shots of all your wedding party who you are enquiring about, we are then able to accurately quote your wedding.

11) How far would you travel?
Answer: We travel within the counties of Dorset, and West Hampshire. We charge a standard travelling fee of £35 between 10-15 miles of Bournemouth and Poole, then £1:50 per mile will be added if we have to travel over 15 miles. There is NO travelling charge if your address for your wedding day preparations is inside our 10 Mile radius. Due to our limited time for appointments we do not travel out of the Dorset area for trials and will add a travel fee if requested to do so.

12) What days do you work and do you work Bank Holidays?
Answer: Our daily schedule is Tuesday through to Saturday, we will accommodate Sundays on special request and every Bank Holiday Saturday from Easter through to August, however we do not work any Monday, Christmas Day, Boxing day or New Years Day..

13) Why do all my bridesmaids have to have a trial?
Answer: We advise you to insist all your members of your wedding party have a trial, to reduce any stress on the day. It is not always necessary for flower girls under 6yrs old to have a trial
Eight to ten weeks before the wedding day book an appointment for you and your wedding party, have a full rehearsal trial with your stylist. This helps everyone to become familiar with their hair design, to discuss any changes which may have to be made, giving peace of mind to you the bride, knowing all concerned will be happy on the wedding day

14) Do I have to go to a salon to have my trial?
Answer: No..... our service is mobile from start to finish, we come to you at all times. On the occassion where a bride lives outside the Bournemouth & Poole area we discuss other arrangements

15) What is the maximun in a wedding party you can accommodate?
Answer: We have limited stylists, for large wedding parties.
Over 6, a time scale needed to prepare the hair to our high standard will be in the region of 6-8 hours, therfore if your wedding is before 2-3pm we unfortunately would find it difficult to accomadate your whole party.

16) What are your qualifications?
Answer: Tracy Yvette and Hayley have served a full 4 year apprenticeship with additional hairstyling courses including NVQ. They are both State Registered Hairdressers (SRH) and Tracy is a full paid member of the Hairdressing Council.
