  Preparation before your wedding day

1. Once you have chosen your dress and bought or reserved it, make sure you have a photo of the gown to keep with you when you have your rehearsal trial with your stylist.

2. Make sure you have images of your bridesmaids dress's for the same reason as in No.2 and 3.

3. Meet with your stylist as soon as possible to make sure the whole look/theme you wish to achieve will work for you.

4. Make sure you discuss with your stylist which hair accessories will suit best for everyone concerned and if a veil is required to compliment the look.

5. Insist all your members of your wedding party have a trial, to reduce any stress on the day

6. Eight to ten weeks before the wedding day, book an appointment for you and your wedding party, have a full rehearsal trial with your stylist. This helps everyone to become familiar with their hair design, to discuss any changes which may have to be made, giving peace of mind to you the bride, knowing all concerned will be happy on the wedding day

 INFO On the Day

1. NEVER shampoo condition or straighten hair on the day of the wedding. One to two days before is sufficient, this applies only to those who are having their hair dressed and put up and NEVER straighten the hair after the final hair wash.

2.  Make sure on the morning of the wedding you, or any member of your party having their hair put up or dressed, wears a button or zipped through top, this is to ensure NO item of clothing has to be pulled over the head once the hair has been created.

3. Your make-up is best to be applied before any hair styling. Make-up can be touch up once the full look has been completed.

4. If you plan to have pre-ceremony photos make sure your stylist is aware, you will need to allow time, this is usually an extra thirty to forty five minutes prior to being at the church or venue.

We would like to advise often it is best to have a consultation or a hair trial before deciding your full image and before purchasing your accessories (veil headress and jewellery). Many brides get swept into buying everything on impulse and often end up wasting money by not using all the products purchased

Bridesmaid Updos & Hairstyles The style chosen by the bridesmaid and matron of honor is almost as important as the hairstyle for the bride. Whether you're having your hair styled with the bride, or you're putting it up yourself, it's important that you create a look that will complement the bride herself.  If the bride has asked you to wear flowers in your hair or a simple headdress, our stylists will help you choose the right cut and style to flatter you.

Longer Styles

Whilst it's easier to style long hair, it's important to choose a look that will match and blend with that of the bride. For 2008, the big fashion tip is that curls and big hair are IN!  Fashion magazines are tipping the natural look, with tumbling, big curls as the one that is going to be popular at weddings this year. Remember to take into consideration when choosing your style if it will hold up to not just the whole day but any adverse weather conditions if your wedding  is to be spend mostly out doors Accessorize with hair jewels which compliment the whole wedding party theme.

Updos for Short Hair

An updo is a traditional and elegant style that'll look great in the wedding photos.  It's possible to create one, even with short hair, if you speak to your stylist in good time and take advice.  To create an updo with short hair, follow this advice. If your hair is about 3 inches long, a very fashionable length right now, then you should go for a soft curled and twisted look. The look at a wedding must be very soft and romantic to fit in with the whole mood. Accessorize with a quite diamante clip or a flower. It would be a good idea to try this out a few weeks in advance with the bride present, so that she can say if she likes it or not, and it is also important to try it with the dress you will be wearing to check it matches.
